2. Collection and processing of personal data

We only collect and process personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily by contacting us (e.g. by email). The data you provide is used exclusively to handle your inquiry.

Your data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your inquiry or we are legally obliged to do so.

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Hetzner, a German hosting provider that adheres to strict data protection standards. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to use it only in accordance with our instructions.

Technical access logs (web server logs) are collected each time you visit our website. They contain pseudonymized IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and other technical information. This data is used exclusively for error analysis and to maintain technical stability.

4. Cookies

Our website does not set cookies for recognition, analytics or advertising. This also applies to the audience measurement and error monitoring described below.

If you actively choose a language using the language switcher, we store this choice in a strictly necessary cookie (locale, valid for one year). It contains only the language code and ensures that you see the language version you chose on your next visit. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Without such a choice, we redirect you to the matching language version on your first visit based on the language preference sent by your browser (Accept-Language). This information is not stored.

5. Audience measurement with Rybbit

For statistical analysis of website usage, we use the open-source tool Rybbit, which we operate ourselves at rybbit.reamote.com. It records pages visited, referrer URL, browser type, operating system, screen size, approximate location at country level and individual interactions, such as clicks on contact links. Rybbit works without cookies; your IP address is not stored permanently but only used briefly to create an anonymous visitor ID that changes daily.

The data is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to the processing at any time, for example by using a tracking or script blocker in your browser.

6. Error monitoring with Sentry

To detect and fix technical errors, we use the open-source software Sentry, which we operate ourselves at sentry.reamote.com. If an error occurs or a share of page views is selected for performance measurement, technical information is transmitted: error message, URL visited, browser and operating system version, and load times. We have configured Sentry so that no IP addresses or other personal user data are deliberately collected.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an error-free and secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not passed on to third parties and is deleted after 90 days at the latest.

7. Fonts

The fonts used (Geist) are served directly from our server. No connection to external font providers is established when you visit the website. We do not embed any other external services or third-party content.

8. Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and to object to the processing of your personal data. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.

10. Changes to this privacy policy
